Awesome list! I'm listening to Invitation to a Banquet right now. I need to check out Ferrante. I've heard good things. I would recommend Material World by Ed Conway if you're looking for some solid non-fiction. It was my favorite book from last year.
If you liked A Fire Upon the Deep I also strongly recommend A Deepness in the Sky (which I liked even more).
